The 10-A-C Crew is cooking up fantastic plans for our annual Smith Anderson Hubbard Family Reunion, which is coming up on July 10-12, 2015 in Franklin, TN (right outside of Nashville) – we can’t wait to host you!

Last year, we enjoyed a blowout celebration of our 50th family reunion. It was great fun to look back on where we started and all we’ve accomplished as a family – all while rocking out to a band that had most of us dancing late into the night in HotLanta. As we look forward to our 51st family reunion this summer, we’re thinking of ways to recognize, celebrate and launch the successes that only our family can create together in the next fifty years. Are you in?

Lots more information is on the way shortly. Be sure to check your email, and this website, because we’ve gone digital, baby!

Don’t forget to Register for the reunion, Reserve your Hotel Room, and Submit your Blabbermouth Entry!!

The National Trust for Historic Preservation awarded Franklin the prestigious title of Distinctive Destination.  Franklin offers an authentic visitor experience by combining dynamic downtowns, cultural diversity, attractive architecture and a strong commitment to historic preservation.  It’s also the #1 Small Town in Tennessee, if you believe the sign!

I can’t wait to see what the Tennessee Crew has planned for us!

Everyone knows we have the Blabbermouth as a tool for family bragging and gossiping.  What we do not have is a place to keep up with our family census records, until now.

A new census form has been added to the Forms and Requests section of the site, where you can chronicle the important dates in your immediate family.  We will then compile the information and add it to our family tree.

Please click the link and complete the form, it will only take a minute of your time!

I have been glued to the internet ever since August 9th, the day Mike Brown was killed.

As each day passes I can’t help but think of the many people, in our family alone, who were deeply involved in fighting for civil rights in our country.  I have often wondered, how or if I would’ve been as vocal and strong as they were had I been alive at that time in history.  More and more, I am coming to realize that I am alive at that time in history.

Are you guys paying attention?
