Then Perry Jr., our Smith-Anderson patriarch, fell and broke his hip.
Then my dear sweet mother, Zeraline, our Smith-Anderson matriarch, left us to reside with our ancestors.
Then COVID.
I got sick with the first wave. Thank God I recovered without incident.
Then cousin Anna, our webmaster extraordinaire, was diagnosed with breast cancer. You can follow her journey here.
But as my mom would say “God Still Sits on The Throne”.
We are SAH strong. God and our love for each other has seen us through slavery, Jim Crow, civil rights and will continue to lead us through our turbulent times. Cancer has met its match!
We had planned a few items for the blabbermouth that I thought we should just post on the website…
We look forward to seeing you Next Year!
God Bless You! We love you all!
