We voted to increase registration dues by 25% in 2024, and again in 2025.

Payment Portal Fees:

Paypal payment portal fees were brought up again. Historically, the hosts have been absorbing this cost.  We discussed passing this fee on to anyone who pays online, but it was tabled until the next reunion.

SAH Scholarship Recipient:

There was a recipient, but the details have not been provided as of press time!  I will update this section once received.

High School Graduation Gift:

Each year family members attending the reunion give a gift to the graduating high school student(s) registered and present at the reunion. Details were not provided. I will update this section once received.

Family Council & Committees:

We decided to have on-going committees and to create a family council for continuity across reunions to facilitate communication and to ease the burden on reunion host committees.

T-Shirts. We decided to keep the 2023 t-shirt design for the 2024 and 2025 reunions and to establish an on-going t-shirt committee to oversee the design and distribution of the family t-shirt. T-Shirt Committee: Janay, Emani Wright, Xavier Smith, Dominique Martin, Millicent Cole and Buni David.

Action: Emani will convene the committee’s first meeting.

Digital Media. We established a digital media committee to manage the website, social media, and the online payments and registration processes. Digital Media Committee: Emani Wright, Brian Black, Eric Barnes and Anna-Marie Brown.

Action: Brian will convene the committee’s first meeting.

The Family Council is comprised of the representative(s) from each host region and members from the T-shirt and Digital Media Committees.

Action: Brenda will convene a Family Council meeting within 60 days of the 2023 reunion.

UPCOMING Reunion Hosts:

Host representatives bid on upcoming reunion years. No one bid on hosting the 2025 and 2029 reunions. Wanda McGee & Marlon Martin graciously volunteered to host the 2025 reunion in Little Rock, AR and Region 4 “won” 2029 by default.
