Hi Family,
I wanted to be sure you knew about the symposium the Kelly Miller Smith Foundation is presenting this week.
So much is at stake in upcoming elections that we decided to focus on equitable access and full participation in the electoral process. Our presenters will engage, inform and inspire!! I hope you will join us!
The symposium is offered at no cost. The program is about 90 minutes long and kicks off with a conversation between Valerie Jarrett, former Sr. advisor to Pres. Barack Obama and Karen Grigsby Bates, who you may know from NPR. This is followed by insights from Nsé Ufot – who led the New GA Project in registering over 500k Georgians to vote, helping turn the state from red to purple. We will also hear from Deirdre Reed, a 20 year veteran of community and faith-based organizing and Poet Gold, a spoken word performance artist, poet, and community “artivist”.
Just keeping you in the loop! Click the image to register for FREE!
Blessings, Kelly Miller
As mentioned, there is no cost to attend the virtual symposium but donations are always welcomed! You can do so by scanning the image below with your phone’s camera, or by clicking it to be linked directly to the foundation’s Paypal.
